I am the General Secretary of SAEWA, and the Vice-Chairperson of the NBCEI.
Since 1996 I have served several terms as a Trustee for the ECI Funds. After a hiatus of approximately 8 years, I re-joined the ECI Funds in 2017 as a Trustee, I currently serve as a Board Member, and a Committee Member on several sub-committees: Claims and Dispositions, Administration, Communications and Investment (Regions A and B) .
I have served as a Trustee to the ECI-KZN Pension Fund, as a member to the [interim] Board of Trustees of the ECI-Cape Pension & Provident Funds; and,
I have held trusteeships to both the MEIBC (Metal Engineering Industries) Pension & Provident Funds and the Mines Pension Fund.
As a Trustee, I regard it my sacred duty to always act in the best interest of our Members in general, and, in particular, to provide the best social security benefits and a comfortable retirement to our Members. .
